File Viewer

File Viewer is a file manager for Android. This application, due to its aesthetics and functionality, could be a default app included in a cell phone. Its aesthetics can pass for any stock Android app, while in terms of functionality it offers all the basics we need.

After granting permission to access the local storage, File Viewer displays a screen with some of the most used folders. We find the Downloads or Recent Files section, in which we can quickly access the last files we have downloaded, or the last ones we have opened. We also have a section for favorites.

At the bottom, we can see the files sorted by categories, choosing between documents, images, audio, videos or files.

In case we want to access the files according to the folder they are in, we can go to Internal Storage at the top. There, we will find all the system folders.

With File Viewer we can even access system folders if we have the mobile rooted. To do this, go to settings and enable the root folder access option. In the settings we also find the option to have the dark theme for the interface.
